The Rainmaker:
Investigate the Water Cycle, Acid Rain Pollution, Evaporation and Condensation, Fresh Water from Salt Water, and how materials change. The water cycle simulator is simple to set up and operate. Fill the ocean with salt water or vinegar, load the cloud with ice and switch on a lamp. Rain will fall over the hills and run into the rivers and the lake. The lid of the rainmaker remains clear, enabling the water cycle to be observed. Water in the raindrops, rivers and lake can be tested. Conduct experiments using food colouring, brown sugar or other safe pollutants. Investigate how we can help nature and protect the environment. Full teachers notes, with experiments, included.
